Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a quote request, creating an account, or shipping cards to Cappy's Cards, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Cappy's Cards provides Pokémon card restoration, cleaning, and repair services. All work is performed on a best-effort basis. We will provide a written estimate before beginning any work, and no work will proceed without your explicit acceptance of that estimate.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Estimates are free and non-binding. Final pricing may differ from an estimate if the condition of the card differs materially from the photos submitted. We will notify you of any pricing change before proceeding. You may cancel your order at any point before work begins for a full refund of any deposits paid.
4. Shipping and Risk of Loss
You are responsible for packaging and shipping cards to us. We strongly recommend using insured, tracked shipping. Cappy's Cards is not liable for loss or damage that occurs during inbound transit. Once we receive and sign for your card, we assume full responsibility for its safekeeping until it is returned to you.
All outbound shipments from Cappy's Cards are fully insured. In the event of loss or damage during outbound transit, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf and compensate you for the declared value of the card.
5. Restoration Results
Card restoration is not an exact science. Results vary based on card age, print quality, type and extent of damage, and other factors outside our control. We make no guarantee of a specific PSA grade outcome or visual result. We will document every card before and after treatment and provide honest assessments of expected outcomes prior to beginning work.
6. Turnaround Time
Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to job complexity, volume, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any significant delays through your account dashboard.
7. Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event that a card is damaged while in our care, our maximum liability is limited to the fair market value of the card at the time it was received, as mutually agreed upon during the estimate process. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or speculative damages including potential grade improvements, resale value, or sentimental value.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel an order at any time before work begins for a full refund. If work has already begun, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion based on the work completed. Completed jobs are non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with a completed restoration, contact us at support@cappyscards.com and we will work to make it right.
9. Intellectual Property
Cappy's Cards retains the right to photograph and document restoration work for quality control and portfolio purposes. We will not publish identifiable photos of your specific card without your consent. By submitting photos through our platform, you grant us a limited license to use those photos internally for estimating and documentation.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will note the effective date of the most recent revision below.
